The Guest House at Graceland is open and serving essential workers and guests.

UPDATED 5/1/20

We continue to closely follow the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, both domestically and abroad.  We are in regular contact with local authorities.   Our teams are monitoring the most up-to-the-minute information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Governor’s Office of Tennessee, and the Mayor’s Office of Memphis.

We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness across our entire hotel. We have implemented heightened precautions in sanitization, disinfection, and cleaning measures as guided by the CDC and WHO.

For the safety of guests, we have suspended all service in our restaurants and bars, except Shake, Rattle, and Go, where we are serving grab-n-go items, beverages, and of course, Starbucks coffee.  Shake, Rattle, and Go is open daily until 5 pm.  After 5 pm, a limited selection of food is available for purchase at the front desk.

Travel Flexibility and Support:

In response to changing marketplace conditions, the Guest House at Graceland  is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.

Therefore, we are implementing the following policies:

  • For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival, as long as the change or cancellation is made by June 30, 2020. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, between today and June 30, 2020, we will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

Our team takes great pride in the role we play in the lives of our customers and guests. Rest assured that as circumstances continue to develop, one thing will remain constant: We will make our decisions with the health and well-being of our customers, guests, team members, and community as our highest priority.

In line with Federal and CDC guidance and with the absolute best interest of our Guests and Staff in mind, the Graceland mansion and its exhibits were temporarily closed through May 20, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This temporary closure includes morning walk-ups to Meditation Garden. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed. Please continue to check this page and our social media for updates.

Elvis Presley’s Graceland will welcome back guests beginning Thursday, May 21, 2020. The organization is committed to the health and safety of their guests and associates and has been working diligently to reconfigure all operations – including tours, retail and restaurants – to meet or exceed social distancing, capacity, and health and safety guidelines. With Mansion tours will be reduced to 25% capacity.

During the re-opening phase, restaurant capacities will be reduced by 50% and outdoor patio seating will also be available.

In addition to reduced capacities, Graceland’s new health and safety protocols include all associates wearing masks (guests are encouraged to wear masks, as well), temperature checks for both guests and associates, 6 feet social distancing markers placed throughout the property, enhanced sanitization procedures featuring commercial-grade continuous cleaning, hand sanitization stations and touchless payment options.
