Stax Museum of American Soul Music
This museum is located at 926 East McLemore Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. The premise was formally home to Stax Records. The museum is run by Soulsville USA. The museum is one of the few in the world that is solely dedicated to soul music. Some of the cerebrated legacy artists from the museum include Johnnie Taylor, the Staple Singers, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding and Isaac Hayes, among others.
Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum
