Thanksgiving: Counting Our Blessings at The Guest House at Graceland

More than any other holiday in the United States, Thanksgiving is a time to look back over the previous 12 months, to acknowledge where we were a year ago and to take stock of the blessings that have come into our lives.

As we prepare to welcome our first Thanksgiving guests this week, The Guest House at Graceland has a bounty of blessings to acknowledge. Last year at this time, the hotel was a construction site. Twelve months later — and less than a month after our official opening — we proudly added the AAA Four Diamond Award rating to our list of achievements.

One of the most sought after and recognized awards in the hospitality industry, AAA Diamond Awards are earned based on in-depth evaluations conducted on-site by unannounced professional inspectors. Hotels and resorts recognized with Four Diamonds meet rigorous standards for hospitality, service, amenities and attention to detail offered in a refined, stylishly upscale setting; less than 6 percent of the almost 28,000 AAA/CAA Approved and Diamond-Rated hotels inspected each year hold a Four Diamond rating.
